Filmcamp 2010 Singapore Archon Defender was screened at  Filmcamp 2010  held recently in Singapore.

Filmcamp is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. This event will bring together interesting people in the creative, media, IT and other sectors to share ideas in a collegial atmosphere of unabashed geekery.

Archon Defender Screening in Toronto The official world premiere screening and DVD release of the film will be held Wed. Oct. 7 2009, at the Revue Cinema, 400 Roncesvalles Avenue, Toronto Canada.

Showtime is 7:00 pm, tickets are $10 at the box office, $5 if you bring me a DVD or a DIVX of your own animated film (no demo reels :P )

A Q&A with the director (me) will follow immediately after the screening. Afterparty at the River Restaurant, 9:00 pm (directly across from the Revue Cinema).

Archon Defender Awarded #1 In Animation at SkyFest

Archon Defender has been awarded 1st place in the category of Animation at the SkyFest 2009 Film and Script Festival in Asheville NC.

I've updated the trailer page with a new embed to vimeo.com, which has much higher video quality than YouTube, plus if you click through to the main Vimeo page, you can watch the trailer in HD. I also added a second trailer page linking to the youtube version, should you prefer.. or if vimeo is down.

Archondefender.com goes live. I've been spending the last week getting ready for the first production run of DVD's. The DVD extras are done, the dvd layout is done, and the dvd print layout is done, not to mention the web site. The next job is to get everything arranged with the manufacturer, I've decided to go with www.predisc.com as they have a fairly attractive package for small runs of duplicated dvd's in environmentally friendly 'digipak' cases. Stay tuned for updates on the official DVD release!
